Turkish coffee, the Bosnian way HOWTO
To add some extra zest to the good ol' Turkish coffee, do the following:
1. measure water for n cups of coffee and have the same number of empty coffee mugs handy
2. boil water
3. pour boiling water into the cups
4. return the coffeepot to the stove fire to dry completely
5. put 2n teaspoons of coffee in the pot
6. stir the coffee for ten seconds or so (you'll find the sweetspot after some time)
7. add the hot water you previously boiled to the coffeepot, but don't mix it with the teaspoon!
8. allow coffee to "rise up"
9. remove coffeepot from the stove
9a. optional: skim the coffee foam, put it evenly into the cups and repeat from step 8. one or two times.

Inner city life
I just finished a phone conversation with my friend... And what a convesation that was. He updated me a bit on the happennings downtown, what the kids today are doing in clubs and cafes.
First story was about two girls who were at a very crowded concert and were kind of lazy to go through the entire crowd to reach the toilets, so the two of them just stripped the panties beneath their skirts and pis^H^H^Hurinated on the floor in the middle of the crowd...
Second story was about a guy who became so lost because of drugs (and boredom), that once when he was in that one cafe I go to from time to time he took off his sneakers and put his feet on the middle of the bar table... Later that evening, he went to the 1x1m storage room in that same cafe and tried to masturbate, but then my friend saw him and laughed her ass off (?!) and he was like: "Ok, ok, I'll stop..."!
Third story was about a guy who's mom found out that he was into sniffing speed and other drugs. She, ofcourse, panicked and busted her ass off to make him stop doing that, in which she partly succeeded, but the interesting part was his friends' comments, which were something like: "Ok, dude, lay low for a bit, wait for your mother to cool off and back off and then you can take some drugs again and when she sends you to do a drug test, we'll switch the urine samples with some guy who's clean..."
Wait a minute there. Where are these young people headed?
It seems like there are only two extremes: people who have too much, or too little, free time. Those with too much do the shit like this above, or, if they don't have the money for the let's-party-all-day-and-night lifestyle, they bore their asses of on the sofas all day long. Those with too little free time on their hands get together with other people rarely, usually have couple of close friends with whom they see each other with and in general live the work-eat-sleep life...
Is that the only way?
New category, thinking of blogging in english
I added a new category today, GNU/Linux. There I'll post stuff related to OSS and GNU/Linux, Gentoo especially. I'm doing some thinking whether to blog in english or not. The reason is simple: english-speaking blog visitors. Most serbian-speaking people can understand English very well and therefore there shouldn't be any problems. The only problem is my grammar, but this blogging in english can only help. So, see you soon with some new posts.
Downtime, posao, etc.
imped.net je bio down par dana... Razlog? Hardverski problemi, upgrade sistema, vraćanje bekapa. Razmišljam da prebacim imped na drugi hosting, što ću najverovatnije i da uradim kad budem imao malo više vremena. Treba dumpovati sve baze, prebaciti sve usere i poddomene... Polako.
Bio sam na konkursu za posao u EUnetu, za "inženjera TP". Sve je prošlo super, u ponedeljak mi je prvi radni dan. ;)
Ovih dana se muÄ?im da nateram konqueror da radi kako treba. Zeza me neki Ä?udan bug, koji se izgleda deÅ¡ava samo meni, iako nemam niÅ¡ta neregularno na sistemu, niti sam preterano bleeding edge Å¡to se bitnih delova sistema tiÄ?e, tj. sve bitno je stable i kompajlirano je sa blagim CFLAGS. Drugo reÅ¡enje, izgleda i jedino, je da saÄ?ekam novi KDE da se pojavi za par dana, ako sve sa RC proÄ‘e okej.
FEST revisited
PreviÅ¡e sam filmova gledao... PrepriÄ?avati ih bi bilo pomalo suludo. Sedam dobrih filmova do sad: Deveti dan, ÄŒeÅ¡ki san, Prah i pepeo, Ferpektni zloÄ?in, Sutra se selimo, Kod amidže Idriza i Old boy. Ako imate prilike da ih se dokopate, Å¡to u bioskopu, Å¡to u kućnoj varijanti, dokopajte ih se. Naravno, ne oÄ?ekujte bog zna Å¡ta, filmovi nisu epohalni niti iÅ¡ta tako, ali vredi pogledati. Iskreno, FEST me malo umara, gladan sam, boli me glava. Džabe Grand kafa pomaže! ;) Ne mogu viÅ¡e da piÅ¡em, Jeca me dekoncentriÅ¡e...
FEST
Sedim ispred polu-zgužvanog programa festivala (onog kog nisam izgubio) i gledam koje sam sve filmove gledao i koje ću gledati... Par reÄ?i o njima.
5x2: brak koji se raspada do taÄ?ke kako je sve poÄ?elo, tim redom. Bez poente, bez dinamike. Opora priÄ?a. Dosadno.
Deveti dan: dobar film o sveÅ¡teniku u nacistiÄ?koj NemaÄ?koj kome se sloboda uslovljava saradnjom sa nacistima. Ima izbor: ili će prikloniti sebe i luksemburÅ¡kog biskupa nacistima, ili će ga vratiti u konclogor i poubijati njegovu "sabraću"...
Ferpektni zloÄ?in: dinamiÄ?na komedija sa dosta iznenaÄ‘enja...
Mrzi me da kucam dalje. ;)

Ovih dana, sajt del.icio.us se Ä?esto provlaÄ?io kroz ove ili one teme... Danas sam ga posetio po prvi put i naleteo sam na URL za sajt o vezivanju pertli (?!) Sve u svemu, ljudima koje smara Å¡to im se pertle Ä?esto odvezuju bih preporuÄ?io da ih vezuju ovako.
